BosniaAir dashboard with the current AQI for Sarajevo and pollutant levels.

Problem

Air in Sarajevo is among the worst in Europe in winter, and the numbers were hard to read for normal people.

Constraints

Data comes from an external source with its own limits.
People check it on a phone in the morning.

Decisions

A .NET 8 API that collects and caches WAQI data, with a Next.js frontend.
AQI, dominant pollutant, forecast and advice for sensitive groups on one screen, per city.

Result

Live air quality for BiH cities at bosniaair.vercel.app.
