A new windows and doors company needed a site that explains its profile systems, shows finished work and turns visitors into quote requests, and the owner had to be able to change all of it herself.
Constraints
Every text, photo, product system, review and FAQ entry editable without a developer.
Large project photos must not slow the site down.
Serverless hosting with no permanent disk.
Decisions
One-page site with sections for PVC systems, aluminium brands, container homes, finished work, the process and FAQ, plus a quote form.
An admin panel where each list (work, systems, brands, steps, reviews, FAQ) is generic CRUD described in one place, so a new field is one line.
Uploaded photos converted to WebP at a maximum of 1600 px; catalogue PDFs replaceable from the admin.
SQLite synced to Vercel Blob for a small site with occasional writes, switchable to Turso without code changes.
Result
The owner changes the site herself, and quote requests land in the admin. Covered by unit tests and end-to-end tests on mobile and desktop.
